Our black pasta dough made with squid ink is great way to impress your friends at a dinner party. Taking the classic pasta dough recipe and just adding some squid ink can really transform your fish pasta dish.
PLACE your flower on a dry surface and create a well in the middle.
CRACK your eggs into the middle of the well.
ADD the salt and squid ink into the well too.
MIX the salt, eggs and squid ink together until well combined, then slowly start to bring flour into the egg mixture from the edge of the well. Keep mixing until all the flour is combined a dough starts to form.
KNEAD the pasta mixture until a dough is formed which is similar to the consistency of play-doh
COVER with cling film and rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
