
This no churn Cherry & Amaretto gelato is the perfect summertime treat. This is a super easy ice-cream recipe which you can make at home without the need of an ice-cream machine or endless hours of stirring.
METHOD
WHISK all the ingredients together except for the Amaretto di Saronno, amaretti biscuits and cherry compot until the mix forms soft peaks. Do not over beat.
FOLD in most of the crushed biscuits (keeping some back to decorate the top) and the Amaretto di Saronno (if using).
PLACE in a freezable container
FREEZE for 1 hour then remove from freezer and swirl in the cherry compote making a ripple effect.
TOP with the remaining amaretti biscuits and then return to the freezer for another 5 hours
