Beef Apple and Sage puree

This Beef Apple and Sage puree is a perfect recipe to introduce meat to your baby for the first time.  Easy to prepare and quick to make.

Ingredients

To buy:

80g (approx a handful) of minced beef

1 apple, washed, cored and quartered

1-2 sage leaves

Store-cupboard essentials:

grated parmesan (optional)

METHOD

STEAM your apple, beef and sage for approximately 10 minutes.  Leave the skin on the apple as it’s full of nutrients for your little ones.  Its important to ensure the meat is fully cooked through before removing from the steamer.

PLACE all ingredients into a blender. Use the water from the steamer to loosen the puree to the correct consistency. If you want to add some natural seasoning then you can add some grated parmesan.

BLITZ all the ingredients to the desired consistency.
