Chickpea, Cashew and Cinnamon Hummus

Our chickpea cashew and cinnamon hummus recipe is super easy and a hummus with a different twist to normal. It’s great for dipping veg or toast really whatever you fancy. Oh – and trust us, it’s a great one for the adults too. This uses all ingredients from your store cupboard.

Ingredients

Store-cupboard essentials:

1 x tin of chickpeas (try to purchase with no added salt)

A handful of unsalted cashew nuts

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbs extra virgin olive oil

Seasoning for adults

METHOD

PLACE all the ingredients into a food processor

BLITZ together until you have the consistency you want. You may need to add a little more olive oil for a smoother taste.

For adults feel free to add some salt and pepper to season, but you should avoid this for the smaller people
