Easy Home-made Vanilla Gelato

This easy home-made Vanilla gelato recipe is a super quick to make and you can make it at home without the need of an ice-cream machine or endless hours of stirring/churning.  It is the base to what could be a never ending amount of flavours of ice-cream

Prep: 5 mins

Freezing: 4-5 hrs

Difficulty: easy

Serves: 6

Ingredients

To buy:

500ml double cream

1 x 395g tin condensed milk

 

Store-cupboard essentials:

2 tsp vanilla extract

METHOD

WHISK all the ingredients together until the mix forms soft peaks.  Do not over beat.

PLACE in a freezable container to freeze for at least 4-5hours.

REMOVE 10-20 mins before serving or until it reaches the softness you like.
